Stanley Planes

Featured Replies

Lew, those are not bad planes and could be cleaned up. I have found the for more and for less.

This is a site I check when I am out to see how the price compares.

I usually carry my iPad or iPhone in with me and I will look them up while standing there. eBay has also become a price check. You can see what they are selling for or which sometimes is good and sometimes not so good.

I was up in Tennessee yesterday and found about three I would like to have picked up. They were a bit on the high side but in really good condition. I walked away from all three and really there was only one I wish I had gone and and picked up. A really nice plane and I think they would have come down a bit on it.

Oh well if it is there when I go back I will see about it then

I passed up on one of these yesterday that was in excellent condition. They were produced from around 1931 till Stanley bought them in 1952. I may end up calling and getting it anyway, Just like it cause it is so different.
